Location & facilities A Casa Amarela
From April 2020 we would like to welcome our guests to our completely renovated farmhouse in Pinheiro de Coja, in the Green Heart of Portugal. Pinheiro de Coja is a small village with 150 inhabitants. 4 kilometers away is the larger town of Côja, where several stores and restaurants can be found and it features a square on which several cafes are located. It is pleasantly busy here when the weather is nice. The property features 3 luxury stays , two 3-room apartments and a studio. All feature a luxurious bathroom, kitchen or kitchenette and a private terrace. The apartments come with a fully equipped kitchen. One apartment even has an enclosed garden and a view of the mountains.
The spacious garden has a large swimming pool and several pieces of playground equipment. There is a gym on the 1st floor that you can use for free. Parking is free in our own parking lot.

Our double love story
We are Ingeborg and Ruben Koole . We met 15 years ago and the spark quickly flew. We soon found out that we both wanted to live and work outside the Netherlands in the future.
Which “outside The Netherlands” became a lot more concrete when Ruben’s well-traveled brother pointed us to Portugal and immediately lost our hearts to this beautiful country. After traveling through the whole country, our eye fell on the beautiful green calm interior of Portugal , where there is always something in bloom and where the country radiates such a wonderful peace.
Slowly our old one came dream ever closer. Reuben, with his love for cooking with regional products, for growing your own vegetables, and I with a love for guests, nature, our two dogs and I love to decorate houses and organize everything in the background. An ideal combination to embark on an adventure abroad together.
We are not new to hospitality. Until 2016 we ran several restaurants in Almere together. Ruben as chef and I, Ingeborg, as hostess. Pampering guests with delicious delicacies and giving them a carefree evening was our goal. We also wanted to design this in a different way. That deserved a dream place . And we found it in a Casa Amerela , an old converted farmhouse. Exactly in the right place and with enough possibilities to expand further. So actually it has become not a double but a triple love. We, Portugal and our own dream place.
