Nestled in the hills of the Serra do Açor nature reserve, it radiates austere, pure beauty. From Piódão you can take beautiful walks through the green nature of the Serra do Açor nature reserve. A special place to walk to is Foz d’Égua. It is best known for its beautiful stone bridges and exciting rope-and-plank walkway. Another walk leads to the hamlet of Chãs d’Égua.
